Welcome Back!!!

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school.

*Our regular method of communication will be Seesaw, so if you have any questions for either of us, please send a personal message via Seesaw. We will be checking it on a daily basis during the school week, so you should receive a response the same day.

To prepare for your child’s time at school, please send him/her with the following items:
-backpack that is large enough to hold his/her lunch box (please label it).
-indoor running shoes that will be left at school (please send velcro, unless your child is independently able to tie laces).
-lunch box that holds food for 2 nutritional breaks
-please send food containers that your child is independently able to open
-water bottle (label), all water fountains are still closed due to COVID
-a personal pencil case or pencil box that is able to hold the following items:
-crayons and/or pencil crayons
-hand held pencil sharpener (optional)
-plain scissors
-eraser
*The school will provide all students with glue sticks and regular pencils, along with any items, except for playdough, that you are unable to purchase.
-playdough in a container(s)/bag(s) for your child’s personal use (can be homemade and in a sealed plastic bag if you prefer and might be a fun activity to do with your child – see the Playdough recipe page at the left hand side of this post).
We use playdough for many activities and due to COVID, it is best if every child has his/her own container. The school is unable to provide playdough to the students since this is not one of the regular items we purchase.
**School starts in less than a week, so no worries if you need extra time to go out and purchase these items and send them after school has started. We have supplies for those who need them.

At our school, all grade One students have individual desks while all SK students work at table groups, our room is set up accordingly. SK students will have table bins to store their individual pencil cases and play dough, similar to last year.
