2020 NEW COVID ARRIVAL PROCEDURES:
NEW Student Entry/Exit:
ARRIVAL:
-FDK 116 students, enter & exit through DOOR #2 at ALL regular school times.
-DOOR2 is located in the PRIMARY yard, just outside of our classroom, (near the bus round about & located off Rosedale Street).
-A gate to the yard touches the outside wall of our class. This is where students enter the primary yard to get to DOOR2.
-There will be signs on the building indicating the door location.
-There is NO MORNING OUTDOOR RECESS
– students go directly into the building & their classroom.
-COVID19 rules state that parents must remain outside of the school fenced areas.
-There will be an administrator outside to help direct students to the correct door in the mornings. I, Mrs. Tessier, plan to be outside about 8:20-8:30 for everyone’s first day of school.
We will practice this during the school day as well.
-Once inside the building, a staff member will help students with their routines.
-Students should arrive at school between 8:15 am -8:30 am.

DISMISSAL:
After school, parents of students who walk are to meet outside the fence gate near DOOR #2.
-We allow parents to pick up their child 10-15 minutes before the 2:50 bell, since we want to ensure everyone is properly met.
-One of the classroom staff will be watching at the window of our classroom to ensure the children are released to the correct adult.
-All students must be picked up by 2:50 pm at the latest, thank you.
-YMCA students are picked up by staff at 2:40 pm & taken to the gym or library. All YMCA programs before/after school are held in the gym/library this year.
-Bus students are brought to their bus by one of the FDK staff members.
