-Each child took a placement test that put him/her at a current level and depending on how s/he progresses, the program will adjust accordingly to provide more or less practice with a phonic/reading skill

This 3 program set has books, phonics lessons and comprehension practice.
1. FastPhonics has phonics lessons.
2. Reading Eggs has reading practice via a variety of activities including words, sentences and books.
3. Eggspress is comprehension practice while reading.

-This combination of programs provides your child a full range of reading activity experiences, so the more they practice, the better their skills will improve.
-Your child should be doing the work independently.
**If you only have time for one activity during the week at home, please use this one.

-The Reading Eggs login information page mentions purchasing a parent account, but this isn’t necessary.
-I will print certificates and share information regarding your child’s progress.

Library Time
Our class will have library time every Wednesday.
Please return your book every Tuesday, so we can check them in ahead of time.

Each child is only allowed to have 1 library book.
Your child is only allowed to get a new book once we have received their current one.

If your child had books that were not returned from a previous year, a note was put in Seesaw to let you know which book is missing and the replacement cost, in case you are unable to find it.
Please try and find the book and return it as soon as possible, so your child can check out new ones.
